All your game progress, completed puzzles, and hint balance is stored locally on your device using Core Data.

3.2 No Account Required

Crossword Play does not require any account creation. You can enjoy the game without providing any personal information.


4.0 Advertising

4.1 Google AdMob

Crossword Play displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support the free version of the app.
Google may collect certain data as described in their privacy policy. You can learn more at:

4.2 Rewarded Ads

You can watch optional rewarded ads to earn free hints. This is entirely voluntary.


5.0 Third-Party Services

5.1 Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect:

  • General location (country/region)

This data is used by Google to serve relevant ads and is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

5.2 Apple Services

Crossword Play uses Apple’s built-in frameworks:

  • Core Data for local game storage (stored on device only)


6.0 In-App Purchases

Crossword Play may offer optional in-app purchases for hints or to remove ads.
Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we never receive or store your payment information.


7.0 Offline Play

Crossword Play can be played entirely offline.
No internet connection is required to enjoy the crossword puzzles.
Internet is only needed for ads and in-app purchase processing.


8.0 Children’s Privacy

Crossword Play does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.
Since we don’t collect personal data, the app is safe for all ages.
However, the app does contain advertisements.


9.0 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
