Privacy Policy

At Double Lock, your privacy is our top priority.

1.0 What Stays on Your iPhone

Your progress in each scene and your settings (music and sound) are stored only on your device.

2.0 Anonymous Usage Statistics

To understand how the game is played and improve it, Double Lock uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It records:

  • When a scene is started and when it is completed
  • When the full game offer is viewed, and the purchase of the full game (product and price)
  • When music or sound is switched on or off
  • Standard app events, such as app opens and sessions

These events are tied to a random identifier generated for this installation of the App, not to your name, email or Apple Account. Google derives an approximate country or region from a masked IP address. The App does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not show ads and does not track you across other apps or websites. Google’s handling of this data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

3.0 What We Don’t Do

  • ❌ We don’t collect your name, email or contacts
  • ❌ We don’t use advertising or the advertising identifier
  • ❌ We don’t track you across other apps or websites
  • ❌ We don’t share or sell any data to third parties for advertising
  • ❌ We don’t require an account

4.0 Microphone

One puzzle asks you to blow on a fogged window. Only for this puzzle, and only if you allow it, the App listens to the microphone to recognize your breath, using the sound recognition built into iOS, on your device. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

You can refuse microphone access: a long press on the window works instead.

5.0 In-App Purchase

The first scene is free. The full game is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment information. Apple’s handling of purchases is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

6.0 Other Permissions

Double Lock does not request access to your location, photos, contacts, calendar or camera.

7.0 Children’s Privacy

Double Lock does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The anonymous usage statistics described above are not tied to anyone’s identity.

8.0 Changes to This Policy
