Welcome to Rituo. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.


1.0 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Rituo (“the App”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.


2.0 Description of Service

Rituo is a habit tracking and productivity application that helps you build positive routines, track your progress, and achieve your goals. The App uses:

  • Local device storage and optional iCloud sync for your data
  • On-device AI (Apple Intelligence) for personalized coaching
  • Apple Watch integration for on-the-go tracking
  • Live Activities for real-time progress monitoring
  • Local notifications for smart reminders


3.0 User Account and Data

3.1 No Account Required

Rituo does not require you to create an account. All data is stored locally on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account.

3.2 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your device
  • The accuracy of data you enter into the App
  • Any personal decisions you make based on App data


4.0 AI Features Disclaimer

4.1 AI Coach (Zoe)

Rituo includes an AI-powered coach called Zoe that provides suggestions and motivation. This feature uses Apple’s on-device Foundation Models.

4.2 Not Professional Advice

AI suggestions are for informational and motivational purposes only. The App does not provide professional, medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

4.3 Use Your Judgment

AI-generated content may not always be perfectly accurate or suitable for your specific situation. Always use your own judgment when following suggestions.


5.0 Premium Subscription

5.1 Subscription Terms

Rituo offers optional Premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase option.

5.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
  • Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

5.3 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5.4 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5.5 Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly.


6.0 Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

Rituo and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Amine Arous and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you create and store in Rituo. We do not claim ownership of your personal habit data.


7.0 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to harm, harass, or violate the rights of others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App


8.0 Third-Party Services

8.1 Apple Services

The App integrates with Apple’s services (CloudKit, HealthKit, App Store, Foundation Models, Watch Connectivity). Your use of these services is subject to Apple’s terms and conditions.


9.0 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Rituo is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App is free of viruses or harmful components

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.


10.0 Changes to the App

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the App or any features at any time
  • Update these Terms of Use
  • Change Premium subscription pricing (with notice to existing subscribers)


11.0 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.


12.0 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
